These terms apply to Drum, including Drum Free and a Full edition to be released later. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version governs.
You may download and use Drum Free at no charge, for personal study. Do not publicly share any license keys that may be issued later.
Some features are not available in Free, including YouTube video, local audio/video import, PDF import and OCR, and sentence-aligned original and translation. Those capabilities will ship with Full. Full is not yet for sale.
AI features call a third-party API key that you configure on your device. We do not provide cloud AI, we do not bill on your behalf, and we do not store your key. Sign-up, billing, and usage limits follow your provider’s rules.
In Free, AI sentence explain is limited to 10 times per day. Full will remove that daily cap and still use the key you configure.
Drum Free can be used at no charge with no time limit. It is not a timed trial. Books, vocabulary, and progress stay on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes that local data.
We may update what Free includes, fix defects, or release Full. Material changes will be noted on the product page or in the app.
The app is a language-learning aid, provided as is. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the app. AI requests go to the third-party service you configure; that provider is responsible for availability, billing, and the content it returns.
This app is based on the open-source project Lute v3 (MIT License). Copyright in the original project remains with its authors. The Drum brand, desktop packaging, and Full-related work are independent.
