This policy describes how Drum (“the app”) handles your data. If the Chinese and English versions differ, the Chinese version governs.
Books, articles, subtitles, and PDFs you import, plus vocabulary, reading progress, app settings, and any API key you enter, stay on your device. Our servers do not receive or store that content.
When you configure a third-party AI service on your device and trigger explain or similar features, related text is sent from your device to the provider you chose. We do not provide cloud AI, and we do not handle or keep that request content by default. How the provider processes data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Full is not yet for sale. If you later activate a license, we may collect a device name, a one-way hash of a device fingerprint (which cannot be reversed to hardware details), and the activation time, only to enforce device limits and prevent key abuse.
Free is currently free of charge. This site does not process payments and does not collect payment accounts or card numbers. When Full goes on sale, payment will be handled by a third party; we will not see your payment account.
Uninstalling the app deletes all local data. To delete any license or order records that may exist on our servers, email us at the address below. We will handle the request within 15 business days.
